The filing fees are due along with the signed “Not an attorney” and our “terms and conditions” agreements before services are rendered. For some services, we provide a price range due to the complexity of certain cases and the time discrepancies. Again, fees for some cases may vary depending on the circumstances of that client’s situation.
WE KNOW THE LAW
1 – Some states prohibit an immigration consultant or immigration services provider from advertising Notary services if they hold a Notary commission.
2 – Some states explicitly prohibit Notaries from claiming powers and authority they do not possess, including the power to offer counsel on immigration matters.
3 – Some states prohibit the use of terms like “immigration consultant” or “immigration specialist” or similar descriptions in advertising.
4 – Some states prohibit using the simple words “Notary” and “immigration” or “immigration services” together in the same ads and signs and on storefronts.
5 – Four states — Oregon, Colorado, North Carolina, and Tennessee — do not permit non attorneys to offer immigration-related services.
